There are ample opportunities for fellowship through our monthly meetings, picnics, community events and cruising programs. NOSPS's typical cruising ground is from Olympia in South Puget Sound to Desolation Sound in Canada. We plan a number of cruises each year and participate in joint cruises with the Sequim Bay Yacht Club and Port Angeles Yacht Club as well as rendezvous with other squadrons within our District 16.

Are you a boater in the Strait of Juan de Fuca and
Puget Sound? Whether you have a fishing boat, sail boat, cruiser, or even a run-about -
you will benefit from the boating courses that NOSPS offers! We provide public classes in
safe boating; and offer members, advanced courses in Seamanship, Navigation, Weather,
Piloting, Engine Maintenance and many others. Try taking our Boating Test.

NOSPS instituted the Adopt-A-Marina program, which is gaining National recognition. Once a month various
members of NOSPS contribute a few hours of their time to assisting in the maintenance of the John Wayne
Marina in Sequim. NOSPS efforts insure the grounds of the marina are always in pristine condition. NOSPS
also participates in the yearly Sequim Irrigation Festival parade.
Being a member of the United States Power Squadrons brings its members many exciting benefits beginning with free vessel safety checks and including discounted vacations, marine equipment and supplies, wireless savings, discounted boat insurance as well as auto and home insurance.
